Description
CadmiumCheck™ Swabs are an instant field test for the detection of Cadmium
(Cd+2) on any surface. CadmiumCheck™ Swabs are based on the
reactivity of cadmium with certain compounds capable of forming strongly colored complexes
with Cadmium. When CadmiumCheck™ Swabs are used; a peach/orange) color
develops when cadmium ions (Cd+2) ions are present. The lower the level of
Cadmium ions (Cd+2), the lighter the color peach (light orange) that develops
on the swab.
